Tokyo Cherry Blossoms by Night

SNA Travel (Tokyo) — Naka-Meguro is routinely cited as a popular location in Tokyo for cherry blossom (sakura) viewing.

Every spring, thousands of tourists, both Japanese and foreigners, come to Naka-Meguro to admire the blossoms in the over 800 trees which run parallel with the Meguro River. The area expands nearly fours kilometers where people enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms while walking along both sides of the river.

Unlike many other venues, the Naka-Meguro site is also famous for its nighttime blossom viewing. When the darkness falls, the trees and bridges will along the banks are beautifully lit between 5pm to 8pm, revealing breathtaking views.
